Who operates this service

This website and the Glancerange service are operated by 1789 Apparel LLC, a Florida limited liability company. Glancerange is a trading name of that company.

You do not need an account, a reference number or an open subscription to contact us, and we do not route consumer complaints through a form that requires you to sign in.

What we sell

Glancerange is a software service. It calculates how large printed type has to be for a given viewing distance, where a line should be broken, and how much of a line remains readable as the reader moves away. It is sold as a monthly or annual subscription in US dollars (USD).

We do not sell garments. We do not print anything. We do not take print orders, quote for print work, or act as an intermediary between you and a printer. We do not write, edit or assess the words you bring to the service.

Governing law

These pages and any agreement between you and us are governed by the law of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes are resolved as set out in the terms of service, which contains an arbitration agreement and a class action waiver, and which explains how to opt out of that agreement within thirty days without any consequence.

Prices and tax

Prices on this site are quoted in US dollars (USD) and exclude tax. Sales tax is calculated at checkout from the address you give and is shown to you before you authorise a payment.

Payments and card security

Card details are never entered on, stored by or transmitted through this website. The card field at checkout is served directly by our payment processor inside its own secure frame, so the card number, expiry and security code go from your browser to the processor without passing through our servers at any point.

• The processor is certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest level defined by the card networks.
• All traffic to this site and to the processor is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or higher. There is no unencrypted route in.
• Glancerange stores a token, the card brand and the last four digits, so that you can recognise your own card in your account. It has no access to the number and cannot reconstruct it.
• GLANCERANGE is what appears on your statement, and it is shown to you on the checkout screen before you authorise anything, so that a charge is recognisable when it arrives.
• Consent to store the card for the recurring charge is taken as its own separate, unticked box at checkout, not folded into the terms of service.

Availability, restrictions and promotions

Glancerange is a digital service and is offered worldwide. There is no export-controlled content, no physical shipment, and therefore no shipping policy: nothing is dispatched and nothing arrives. We do not provide the service to anybody in a country or to a person subject to United States economic sanctions, and we do not provide it to children under thirteen.

We run no promotions, discount codes, introductory rates or free trials of a paid plan. The prices on the pricing page are the prices, and the free plan is a free plan rather than a trial that becomes a paid subscription. If that ever changes, the terms of any promotion will be stated in full on the page that offers it and honoured as written.

Intellectual property

The words you type into Glancerange remain yours. Nothing you type is used to train a model, sold, or shared for anybody else’s advertising. The software, the interface, the engine and the written material on this site belong to 1789 Apparel LLC.

If you believe material on this service infringes your copyright, write to support@1789apparell.shop with the work concerned, where it appears, your contact details, and a statement that you hold the right or act for the person who does. We act on complete notices promptly.
